From October 30 to November 2, 2023, the 50th International Conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering (CIE50) was held at the American University of Sharjah in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Nearly 300 experts and scholars from 34 countries and regions attended the conference to discuss sustainable digital transformation. Professor Ying Fan, the head of Lab for low-carbon Intelligence Governance under the Ministry of Education, was invited to give a keynote speech on the topic "Impact of Emission Trading Scheme on Production Systems," which received widespread attention and praise.
