From June 25-28, 2024, Professor Ying Fan, Director of the Ministry of Education Lab for low-carbon Intelligence Governance at Beihang University, led a team of five to Istanbul, Turkey, to attend the 45th International Conference of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE). The theme of this year’s conference was “Energy Sustainability, Security, Efficiency, and Accessibility in a Time of Transition,” with a focus on issues such as oil and gas security, climate change and greenhouse gas emission limitations, energy price volatility, and global challenges in meeting future energy demands and long-term technological choices.
