On July 28th, the Aviation Research Frontier Forum 2024 was successfully held at the New Main Building of Beihang University. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education Lab for low-carbon Intelligence Governance (LLIG) and the Green Aviation Research Center (GARC) at Beihang University. Over 40 experts, scholars, and representatives from more than 10 universities and research institutions, including the University of British Columbia, Beihang University, Beijing Jiaotong University, the University of International Business and Economics, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Hefei University of Technology, Civil Aviation University of China, and Beijing University of Technology, participated in the forum. The conference focused on multiple cutting-edge areas of aviation research, featuring 12 special reports on topics such as aviation big data, airport development index, airport passenger traffic organization, competition between aviation and high-speed rail, low-altitude economy, large aircraft, low-cost aviation, complex aviation networks, and sustainable aviation fuel preparation processes. The forum was hosted by Associate Professor Chunan Wang, Director of the Green Aviation Research Center at Beihang University.
